Hi fellow globe trotters

I am wanting to book flight on Air Asia X to London via K Lumpur. Keep seeing warning about allowing 'time difference' for transit at KL to Stansted, but don't find Air Asia site useful. If I fly out of Oz at 00:45am on the 7th & arrived 07:00 on 7th in KL, is it still same day in Oz as in KL?

Because very few Travel Agents deal with Air Asia X, I am not finding they want to be helpful either.

May seem a dumb question, but when flying from Perth to London via Dubai, I ended up arriving same day & sitting in Gatwick for 5 hrs til family arrived that were expecting me the next day - all be cause wrong info was given by travel agent!
Cheers

Flight times (dep & arr) are quoted "local"....

Anything else would be WAAAY to confusing!

Fun it is too... I fly out of SYD on the 17th to APW via AKL.. arriving there on the evening of the 16th.. ;)

Got to love that date line!

Time difference between Australia and Malaysia is 2 hours between Malaysia and the east coast, but 3 hours (apart from Qld) in summer when DLS comes into effect.

There is no time difference between Perth and KL. The arrival time on your itinerary is local, and not referring to your point of origin.

As for your question, I do believe that it will be the same day that your arrive in KL.

Is it true that if you fly fast enough round the earth in an easterly direction you could travel back in time?

As to how true it is, my guess is as good as your guess

No not at all, I just thought of the novelty factor in time travel. Got to many.

Got too many Back to the Future (and similar) fans in this household:oops:
