And we should also remember that Qantas was a founding member of One World.

So was Canadian Airlines, now owned by Air Canada

When you're faced with losses... though not saying Qantas is in the same position, but just that being a founding member isn't that big.

I doubt that Joyce is in a position to pull Clark into line. He's very much the supplicant in this arrangement.

I am not so sure, he seems more measured and tenacious than Clark,however that is my assessment from little knowledge of both chaps.

I think we will see Alan Joyce straddling an A380-shaped float in the Sydney Mardi Gras parade before we see QF leave OW.

QFF profits make up for QFis losses. Without OW, QFF will struggle to make a profit.

Without WOW QFF will struggle to make a profit, both earn and burn are now highly geared to non flying activity.

i really cant see QF leaving OW.. OW covers MORE THAN 800 DESTINATIONS IN 150 COUNTRIES... MANY MORE PORTS than EK/QF do/could.. the loss in revenue would be large!!! just my opinion

........but how many destinations in Africa and India?
