Tiger Pull out of NTL

I was curious as to NTL's absence in Tiger's summer timetable when it was released a few weeks back, given MEL-NTL seems to have a pretty big JQ prescence (last time I checked, 3 direct return flights, compared to 2 for QF, 1 for DJ [not including occasional connections via BNE] and 1 for TT) can't say I'm surprised TT would find it hard.

OOL would have a lock on TT hub 2 now, surely.

I wonder what will become of TT's MEL-ROK service, also absent in the latest schedule.

and from 11 Aug there are additional MEL-ADL and MEL-CBR services. Guess they are more lucrative..

Bad for competition into NTL - fares to go up no doubt.
