Tiger Airlines returns to Tassie Tasmania News - The Mercury - The Voice of Tasmania


This should hopefully keep flight prices in check. There seems to have been a gradual creep of Virgin fares to Hobart over the last year or so.

There hasn't been more than 1-3 spare seats on the recent few trips i've had to Hobart.

Jetstars current pricing MEL-HBA is $65/$85 about 2 months out compared to Virgin Aust - $93 / $113 / $127

A bit more capacity should be good.

With VA rebranded, I think all it’ll do is keep JQ in check, but that’s okay so long as their plus bundles don’t increase in price… yes I know, jinxed it now
