Thrifty are terrible, unprofessional - do not use them

I have a Thrifty Blue chip card - I see most of the bills - I have 15 or so staff hiring vehicles daily. In general Thrifty works for me OK although you must take care when looking at the bills and ensuring there are no extra charges. The most recent being I hired a car from SYD and at the time was in FRA...hmmmm.

I also have an AVIS Prefered card - if hiring for myself, I used AVIS frequently until I bought an XR8 last year, Holden is the AVIS fleet car, I wanted a Ford so went back to Thrifty for personal hirage where I commonly get XR6's.

I have rented from E Car a couple of times and NEVER again.

As previously mentioned, I think most hire car agencies a thieves - there's BA we can do about it though

I was very happy with both the service and the rate when I hired through Europcar down in Tassie last year. My only gripe was that their range of vehicles was not as good as on the mainland.
