Three go to Bkk in First for SFA.

Just booked a trip from BNE to BKK for myself, Mrs F & the MiL.
Using some sage & wise advice from Mr Lindsay Wilson aka QFWP and points across four different FF programs I have just finished booking all but one flight of our trip in April.

So far, my itinerary is BNE-SIN in F on EK connecting to SIN to BKK in J on SQ then returning from BKK to SYD in F on QF24 connecting to J Syd to BNE. Cost 85,000 Skywards points, 17,000 Krisworld points & 60,000 Qf points & $600 used in a JASA that booked into F.

Mrs F & MiL are booked on QF BNE-SYD in J connecting to QF23 in F to BKK using 90,000 AA points then flying CX J from BKK to SIN using 48,000 QF points (To be booked), a stop over for 5 nights in SIN for work then flying VA codeshare on Etihad J returning to BNE using 104,000 Velocity points.

We have booked two exec plus suites at the Millenium Hilton at $148 per night each in BKK, and Mrs F has work paying for her 5 nights at Sin Hilton. As she is a diamond HHonours I am hoping at least for a decent view on a high floor at the Millenium Hilton.

As we used our points for the MiL, she is picking up the accom tab for BKK.

I am looking forward to my first EK First trip as well as a having 5 consecutive days with Mrs F which has been rare this year.
The last time we had 5 + days together was our trip to LAX & Vegas over Xmas.

A slight change of plans, as I have used 34,000 Krisworld points to book Mrs F & MiL in SQ J from BKK to SIN.
This has now left both of us with almost a complete zero balance across all of our FF programs (for the first time in 15 years).
It's not a big deal though as Mrs F has at least 5-6 Circle Asia fares on SQ this year alone, 1 x BNE-LAX J, + at least 8 returns to AKL, 10 returns Per, and countless SYD & MEL trips.
The only real disapointment is she is now HHonours Diamond but not receiving points/stay credit due to booking via corp TA. This is about 90+ nights going awol.

I have booked our hotel, the Millenium Hilton. Two executive suites at a cost of approx $150 Aus per night. I am also booking the hotel car to pick MrsF & MiL up from Bkk when they in land at 18:30 on QF23. I will be arriving at 12:30 on SQ after connecting from EK.

I have still received points at Sydney Hilton despite booking through corporate travel agent...and on more than one occasion.

Thanks for your reply.
Which corp TA are you using? My wife is going through Egencia which is an Expedia company. Looking at the rates she is getting charged, she is not getting much of a discount from rack rates.
I am seeing far cheaper rates on Wotif.
She has no choice about this and after looking at her bookings, she has had 7 stays this year with 27 nights....
Again, the points are not the biggest issue but would like at least stay credit.

Am currently in BKK, after 5 nights at the Millenium Hilton. Will be doing a full report on EK First vs QF First, but after my mife & MiLaw's trip on QF in First to BKK, I am afraid that QF are not going to rate highly.....

And it get's worse for QF... They ran out of food on my flight back in F... And by "ran out", I mean they are double loading the food carts out of SYD and too bad if they eat all the food on that leg, leaving little for the return flight. In all classes...
So, a basic like the Steak Sandwich was not available, nor was the pork. Or the beef for that matter.
And let's not start on the coughpy seat that was 1A. Avod rebooted 4 times. Seat would not recline initially at all. Purser had a play with it, and got it going with lots of grinding noises....
And my bags....Those lovely little yellow tags that say "First", don't seem to mean much to the baggage handlers....
I thoroughly recommend Mr Joyce takes a flight on Emirates in First, which is pretty much completely the opposite in every way to QF's First.

When coming back from SIN my bag was one of the last off the plane.

That is absolutely ridiculous. I would be contacting them as others have said demanding compensation. Do they wonder why people are deserting QF intl in droves?
