Now this is not for everyone(but Keith they do plan a W in Macau). It is fine for older tourists wanting to be out of the hustle and bustle of china but also for young families as young children appear to be well catered for.
The shuttle bus goes from the ferry pier.Didnt have to wait long after arrival from HKG.At checkin were told we had been upgraded to a suite.Explained plat benefits including free breakfast buffet, free internet and a card giving us 20% off in the restaurants and 25% discount at the bars. Also 20% off massages.
Chefs from the Laguna resort Nusa Dua here at present so the first night enjoyed an Indonesian buffet.
The suite-

We enjoyed our stay there. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Macau casinos to kick back and relax, yet not too far if you want to enjoy the new Macau offerings. The staff couldn't do enough for us.

Make sure you go to Fernandos at Hac Sa beach, a 10 minute walk down the beach from the hotel. The Portugese style Peri Peri prawns are to die for, along with the tomato salad and many other dishes, plus the obligatory Portugese beer! Just make sure you at least have the prawns!

Kiwial-Fernandos is definitely on our list.
And for you sam pictures of our balconies-we have 2.

And the view from the balcony-

Now we are on the 8th floor-on the 9th floor is the clubhouse for the golf course.A look back down the 18th-

And the driving range-into the bay-

The shuttle goes every 30 minutes between 0900-1500 and hourly at other times between 0700 and 2100.You can be dropped off or picked up at the Cotai strip(Venetian) or Taipa(Best Western). So pretty good for seeing Macau.

Thank you! :)

I can’t imagine you’d get much sun bathing in there though, the pollution hardly ever clears ;) Suppose it’s safer that way :p

Well quite frankly we were disappointed in Fernandos.Wine was off and nobody cared.Food was good but not great. In contrast we had our last dinner at the hotel.felt quality was better as well as being cheaper. To top it all off mrsdrron made a comment she would like to have the crepes for dessert but felt it was too much just then.Half an hour later our phone rings-My man is at the door with your dessert-and our complimentary crepes were delivered.Gob smacked.

Where did those people get their training in customer service, we need to send more hotel staff there! Awesome service!

Just to report the points for this stay plus plat amenity posted on the day of checkout.Again great service. So a few last pictures.
