Is there a triple status credits sale happening at the moment?
I checked my app and nothing happened.
I actually thinking whether paying $48000 for lifetime lounge access to SQ and VA would be worth it.

Seems to be triple for a select few and double for everyone else.

The lack of excitement on here and other sites is telling. Even with the bonus credits it's still a simple dollar calculation, no excitement of an exotic multi-stop route or going further afield for more credits.

I don't have either. By my current maths to retain platinum I'd need a further 611 status credits by the end of July next year, even if I did have the TSCs that's $2444 spend to retain which even at that isn't worth it.

lol. absolutely not worth it. I’d rather not fly than fly in economy that much to make lounge access necessary or value for money through status.

Ok so $2.5k for your remaining 600+ SCs.

Pre current deval. A trip MEL to CNS via BNE in J would net it....80 + 80 x 160 then return making it 320, on a DSC offers its 640 at what cost was that trip, ~$2000 from memory.
Edit, just checked & direct you can get for $513, that's a bargain...via BNE is either $750 or bit over a thou.

So even at TSC offer the cash spent still doesn't match what was previously in place, close though.

Just proves to me that even if I'm offered a TSC offer and I won't bite, then it really is all over red rover for my dedicated flying with VA. BFOD seems to be a lock for me, or more so just try the other mob for a while.
I for 1st time in memory have zero VA upcoming flights, app has nothing. My QF app has a few.

On a return or multicity trip, is keeping a record of the price per flight at booking the only way to know how many credits you'll receive per sector?

I suppose the receipt has a breakdown too but the taxes confuse me.

It’s the total amount… you don’t exclude fees and taxes. If you spend $1200 you’ll earn 100 SCs, or 50 for lite fares.
