We did a little boat trip out from Castellammare del Golfo. Our boat was the "Lionel Richie"-great people & excellent sightseeing.

I spent a night at Cradle Mountain Lodge, spending time with visiting Queensland family. Saw something I've never seen before, and happening at the busy main entrance to the lodge!

More in my review the lodge in the Accor thread. It actually ran over and between peoples feet!

Mini Bus trip to Whitby. Much better than Scarborough. All the locals seemed to agree as it was packed on a beautiful sunny day with winter fast approaching. About as many dogs as people. Still well worth a visit.

We really liked Whitby when we visited. We had our own car though which made it easier to get around. We were staying in York.
