Although docked at Tain L’Hermitage, we walked across the first suspension bridge to be built by its inventor to Tournon. Completely different areas, and do not tell the locals they are the same!

The castle is built on granite like it grew from it.

The morning market where locals buy their bread, cheese and fruit and vegetables. There is such a range of tomatoes I have never seen before. Next market I will buy some to try.

Explored a number of walking trails in the spectacular Dolomite mountain's in Northeast Italy. Highest point reached was Toni Demetz Hut at 2,685 meters (8,809 feet) accessed by standing in the two person coffin cable car. Felt like a vertical burial not that I’ve experienced one.

We went walking around Lyon today. Watching the passing boats and kayaks from my floating office was a relaxing morning past time. Houses opposite are from previous centuries.

Exercise was needed after lunch, so we wandered along the waterfront. Plans for this former marsh area started in 1771! Today there are numerous different apartment buildings and plenty of recreational facilities, plus the necessary shopping centre (although it blends in very well to look like part of the hotel precinct).
