The view or two from my "office"

Loved Dinan!
We had coffee down by the water in that exact same spot and walked that beautiful cobblestone street. Did you have to cut out the peolpe to get that clear photo? @RooFlyer

You mean iPhone 'clean up'? No, not for those. If you go early enough (before 9am - the river) or late enough (after 7pm - the road) virtually everyone has gone.

After years of visiting the J lounge in PER, I decided to check out the Qantas Pub upstairs. My son, using my donated lounge passes, has told me how good it is. There are panoramic runway views as the lounge is long and not very deep. The layout is excellent. It really was a joy to visit! These photos do t do it justice, and not enough space to add an indoor view.

Eighteen months from now I will probably drop from WP and remain lifetime Gold. PER QP is definitely a step up from MEL and perhaps elsewhere, mainly because of the long wall of windows.

Yes, the QP always had great views but also a lot of Hi-Vis! 😁

Gozo. Malta. Such clear water. So many fish. That were fed by the captain as we snorkelled all around. Fabulous day.

I have this habit of grabbing on to something when I make an unusual move. In this case it was on a fast moving boat and slid across from my seat to the captains as they were taking photos. Except this time I grabbed the steering wheel and jagged it around as I moved from right to left. The crowd in the front broke into laughter as they could tell how I'd moved the boat at fast speed, then there's my reaction of horror as I realised what I'd done.
Earlier the captain had thanked me publically as I'd given him some Panadol and nurofen as he'd had an accident this morning in a motor scooter and was feeling the pain. So quite the adventure.

We were the oldest couple on the boat and it was full of sweet young things and couples from Brazil, Poland, Italy, Germany, France, UK and so on. Quite a pleasure to the eyes in fact. Because we all spent so much time bombing into the beautiful med ocean. And everyone was fit and young. Except us. But well fit enough to join in.
