What were the rooms & aircon like @Cossie ? We stayed at Ibis Styles Airport Hotel bit further along the busy road, maybe 10 minutes away

Very good, the Anara hotel is very close to the international terminal, we are at the Grand Anara in a few weeks, which is newer, but about a 15-20 minute walk., still connected to the terminal by a covered walkway.

German efficiency at it's best. The online page for wait times for passport control states 10-20 minutes for the new terminal 3 Frankfurt is alledgedly updated in real time, Yeah, right.....

1 hour and 50 minutes, I won't complain about Sydney ever again.

So we got our passport, face and fingers scanned, then still had to go a booth for manual processing.

When we flew into Paris from Istanbul on Friday there was just one passport scan, no queue we walked straight up to the scanner just the two of us,, and we were in. No fingerprinting done. Our first time into Europe since the change.

Malta Harbour Cruise. Some gorgeous yachts. And a cruise ship.

Looking up to Barraka Gardens where the Canon salute is done every day at 12 noon and 4 pm along with British pageant anthems. People line up very early each day. The canons are just visible on the level below. The elevator to get up there is on the left but yesterday we approached the gardens from the town.



Errol Flynn's yacht now a restaurant.

Bitterly dissapointed with this view, not a car park to be seen.
