Sad to be leaving Hawai'i after enjoying another Spam Jam, plus many other treats on Oahu with my adult kids, but now taking solace in the Qantas Lounge at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) while waiting for QF104 back to Sydney.

Yep, controlled burning. Quite a bit of it going on now to reduce fuel loads for the next fire season. The "cloud" pictured is an immature form of pyrocumulonimbus
