My office is being dragged through yet another European gallery.

Hindley St CC band does sensational covers.
Bit late posting this, ...we had fortune to be in Amsterdam in October to catch Pink Floyd tribute band Britfloyd.
Given it is a couple of decades since PF last played together, I figure this is equivalent to Berlin Philharmonic playing Beethoven.
Great show.

Day trip to Batemans Bay yesterday for the last weekend of summer. Cracker day for a round of fish n chips at the Boat Shed, a walk around the shops then to Malua Bay for a brisk swim.

Malua Bay - was busier than it looked as people started to.wonder down around 3 pm.

I have moved to my MEL temporary “office”, the Ibis Styles. No runway view for me, but there are even more off-site car parking lots continuing right from this photo, and then over to maintenance hangars.

The room is clean but basic, and quite all right for an overnight stay. No telephone, no bedside clock, no hair conditioner or body lotion, no hand towel in the bathroom and no face washers, (just two large bath towels and one bath mat), no control over the air conditioner temperature or fan, but plenty of room for the suitcase as well as two people. It is worth the Red Hot Rooms rate I paid. At the going rate, Novotel is not much extra.

My current “office”, Sofitel Melbourne Collins Street. I have a corner “office”, so I look slightly right down past Flinfers Street station and casino to the port. Straight ahead is the river, which was full of rowers this morning, as well as out to the bay. (I saw this sail boats out there, @Flyfrequently.) From the left windows are the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, the outdoor tennis courts, and the rugby (I think) stadium. Unfortunately I cannot show all the views, but I did sit with a cuppa just enjoying them.

Where's the TV? I hate TV's off to the side which I've had to endure a few times!

Big overnight snowfall so the locals in Munich are out for a bit of Sunday morning sledding.
