Kravica waterfall, Hertzagovina. Ambient temperature is about 35° but the waterfalls are down in a valley so it’s wonderfully cool especially with the water spray.

Contract. Exactly the same food as Serendib (UL lounge, J/F only, OWE and OWS not allowed in Y), which we used on Saturday. It's quiet as most J pax goto Serendib.

Looks like we have the new? suite on the 787. Short/mid haul Amenity kit I.e., socks and shades only.

I really cringe at the Kevin Hart safety video. BAs humorous one was far better.


Very quiet in J. F on DOH-AMM so finally get to check out Al Safwa.

Nimes on Sunday. Purely by happenstance we visited it on the big day of the Bull Festival. The Roman Amphitheatre was being used for bullfights.

For their version of the Bull Run the participants stand on the edge of the fenced of alleyway and a trip of horseman guide the Bull down the middle. We did some fool running in between the horses and grabbing at the Bull.




The Maison carree - around 4 -7 AD. We kept coming across this band all round the city.

Some random guy sitting next to me started chatting. Offered me work in KWI as he liked my story. His wife and daughter came later and agreed, saying MrsFB and I should come visit. Do I? Don't I?

Currently on a SCNF Intercite - second rate compared to the TGV - between Arles and Carcassonne. No English announcements but not really a problem. It is now pretty much full.


There is some nice scenery on this route. At one stage we had the wonderfully named Etang (lagoon) de Thau on one side of the train and the Mediterranean on the other.
