A bit more around Vienne. On the other side of the Rhone is Sainte- Columbe. The large tower on the left is the Valois Tower erected in 1336


One of the Roman mosaics at the excellent Gallo-Roman Museum just past the tower. The associated archeological site dates from around the first four centuries AD and covers 4 hectares l.

When I started in Cornwall, there were the daffodils then the bluebells then the wild garlic and now it’s the foxgloves which are just beautiful plus the Queen Annes lace or cow parsley
