Piha is a pretty little town.

There’s just one road in and out.

The road winds its way over the range and through some lush NZ forests.

Set back from the rugged coastline and the distinct black sandy beaches are lots of modest fibro-style holiday homes.

The whole place has an 80’s seaside vibe.

But there are some newer holiday homes popping up.

Most fit the seaside vibe.

And then there’s this box which has been allowed right in town and directly opposite the surf club.

I can’t decide if it looks like a fancy public toilet block, or a massive letterbox.

I get that people want to try something different but that doesn't seem to have any redeeming features - I'm going for toilet block

This guy just walked past my front gate last night in Cornwall and sadly wouldn’t pose long enough for a better photo. It’s funny. I’ve seen it a couple of times and haven’t been able to get out and both times, I’ve seen a cat go past a few minutes later

They're really stupid (dumb as wood), if you want an easy photo drive along the roads and there will be plenty on the side.......

Staying in Chichester atm, i was surprised to see this chap run across the wall at the bottom of the garden
