It is similar but at Goosenecks State Park there are multiple bends and there are no crowds. I pinched a graphic to demonstrate.

Well the Horsehoe Bend I have been to is this one:

I visited it when my wife and I were doing a remote 4WD trip in our twenties retracing part of the original Ghan Route.

Fantastic trip and for at least week prior to arriving at the station we did not see one other person...or even a vehicle.

Assuming that's because it's closed for the duration. Cold and windy here today though so a pool would be out of the question for most.
