Melbourne Cup from SYD Flounge

They are not showing it in the ADL QP.

I had to get them to change the channel - sky tv feed so they had to get into the cupboard to sort it out

Whats is wrong with QF? Imagine them not having the telecast of the Emirates Melbourne Cup blaring out from all TVs in the F Lounges.

After all you can hardly notice the sponsorship can you?

I wish. As it's #2 son's first night home after finishing his degree I'm cooking dinner at home. In another wrinkle, his graduation ceremony is on 17/12, so we all will need to fly down to LST on that day. Christmas AFF may be problematic unless we can fly home in time.

Amazing - 2 hours out of Devonport and I still have 4G internet on Sloptus.

All taken on the South Coast of Sri Lanka. After an awesome trip there earlier this year, I popped back over for a week of lounging around after a very busy time at work. Did the trick brilliantly! Was off peak so instead of sharing my pool with another villa, it was all mine!

It is an interesting place.

Quite a lot of interesting stuff around the area.

My cousin works at the blast furnace and gave me a good look at the steel making process a few months ago.

Seeing liquid steel flowing around is pretty cool!
