I did think about trying to sneak it into the back of the car. Apparently it is from timber that one of the Woodstock family cut down on the property

London staycation... Staying in Mayfair so used the opportunity around the area and Hyde Park. Even saw a black swan which is not very common here.

A few more, was quite busy in town which I wasn't really expecting. Miserable weather this morning but much nicer this arvo so maybe that got people out.

Both my late father and one of my brothers spent time at Northam working on grain handling facilities. Both spoke well of it.

My father did his WW 2 army training in 1940 at the Northam military camp before heading off to the Middle East - he wasn't quite so complimentary

I was suitable impressed with Northam when we spent a night there a few months ago. Farmers' Home Hotel was a great place to rest one's head for the night.
