A sunset viewed from the Conrad Cairo. Disappeared into the haze in the end..... yes, that's another Hilton on the other side of the River Nile ;)

I can't really say I recommend the Conrad, it's fairly dated, the rooms have a bit of a stale smoke smell (I have tried multiple rooms, I've just given up now!) even on supposed non-smoking floors and the breakfast buffet whilst adequate, is far below even many Hilton hotels I've stayed in!
So a few things to add ... there's another Hilton next door, and then another one just down the road too. The land of Hiltons...

Non-smoking floor? Hmmm.... then why are there used butts and ash in here? ;)

The place. Westernmost point on the westernmost road in North America. ‘Airport’ is grandiose; it’s just an airstrip.

The office. Not to be confused with an X-Trail. The X-Terra is substantially more heavy-duty, but of a semi-compact size.

Tonights meal in Bad Schwalbach, flammenkuchen, like a pizza, same same, but different. First time I've had one, won't be the last.

And the view across the road, it is of course a spa town. The 'Bad' part gives it away as well as the fact that they have a 'Kurhaus'.

Interesting, I know a lot of people in that area keep the original plates if they can. I doubt very much that the Vic plate fits that scenario, though.
I collect plates, Egyptian ones are tightly controlled, I have an old series, but not the new sort.
Do you mind if I share this photo on another forum I belong to?
