An that hole in the wall was so you could see the tram coming when seated inside.
Amazingly a couple of hundred yards down (as it was in those days) my great aunts flat survives.

Beautiful part of the world. I was so lucky the day I went up because it was clear blue skiesYesterday’s “office” taking us up to Mount Snowdon. A lovely journey, one hour each way. There were plenty of hikers walking the trail, including a group of primary school children. 4 hours each way.
