Treetop Walk - Valley of the Giants near Walpole.

The highest point on the walk is 40 metres . The big trees are Tingle Trees, only found in that region, they can reach 70 metres.

Reminders of the old Bondi trams on my perambulations this weekend past. First the old Waverly tram sheds now the bus depot.

And on Bondi road at Waverley Park the old tram waiting shed where I would catch the tram back home after staying with my great aunt. About to fall over so being repaired.

An that hole in the wall was so you could see the tram coming when seated inside.
Amazingly a couple of hundred yards down (as it was in those days) my great aunts flat survives.

Yesterday’s “office” taking us up to Mount Snowdon. A lovely journey, one hour each way. There were plenty of hikers walking the trail, including a group of primary school children. 4 hours each way.













The day was partly sunny, but cloud can in as we reached the summit.

No contribution but just want to say how much of a highlight this thread is when I’m having a dinner somewhere in the world during the week to see where everyone is. Such a good reminder to take a break and get out there and see the world. Thanks for everyone’s posts and travel inspiration.

Got to within 7km of Pakistan border today. Travelled from Nubra Valley to Tykashi village

Peaks in back centre are Pakistan
