My office for the next 3 hours at a grand cost of £1/hour. Gyumri back to Yerevan. Then I'll pass back through Gyumri during the wee hours of the night as I get the overnight train from Yerevan back to Tbilisi. Unfortunately not allowed to get on it in Gyumri so a bit of backtracking. I could have taken a minivan from here, but decided against it after the horror stories my bunk buddy told me coming down!

Last day in Cambodia, took a private tour up to Koh Ker, we were warned about land mines still in the area, looks like some only cleared a year ago.
They use trained rats to sniff out the TNT their weight does not set the bombs off.

1st full day in Athens and 5 hours were spent with this view
Finally got in to see a doctor, fracture of the 5th metatarsal. Now in a moon boot and resting

Athens public hospital visit is truly an authentic travel experience.
We shall never complain about Aus hospital

Must be a thing. Did the same, 1st day of a work trip in Macao last December. Gah I hated the moon boot.

After a cancelled night train due to mud/landslides making the track unusable, an extra night in Yerevan and then a minivan to Tbilisi a day later.. I made it back here! Saving grace was that I had the front seat, so lots of room in all directions and then the final stop was a stones throw from my hotel

Decent view from my office in Tbilisi. Had a lovely chat with the hotel owner, she lived in London for 21 years and has family in Perth. I gave my condolences. She also commented what a steal the price I paid was, and she was right
