You are missing some gorgeous weather Steady! After a high of only 10oC yesterday in Melbourne it was over 32oC here in Perth! I did miss the sunshine by the time I got to the pool but the pool was warm :)

On VA this morning to MEL - I'm not too crash hot on my geography so best I can offer is large mountains covered in snow!

I'm not to hot on geography but given Australia's history on naming things I'd say they are the snowy mountains.

Luck - It's actually not that often one gets to see the snow on the Alps - in summer there little enough to be seen from the air and in winter they are normally cloud bound

That's why I flicked the iPad camera on, I could not remember seeing that view before. Was the day for it as had a beautiful view coming back too - and a lovely vista over Canberra. I'm sure we normally track more towards the coast.

"We are next for departure" said the AC A320 SO as we were waiting to enter the runway at Toronto.


That is, except for this little guy, who snuck in in front of us. It was OK, though - smaller or not, he had more guns than us. (Sorry for the coughpy pics - much magnified iPhone pics)
