I am presently overseas and was trying to make a new booking this morning, which one would think would be easy just get online and do it, wrong.
Whether there was something wrong with the system I don't know, but after 3 attempts to log in my account was suspended, yes suspended.
So being a premium member onto the phone I went, and after 15 minutes waiting I was asked some relevant questions, not too hard in the scheme of things until the question "when did you join the Qantas frequent flyer program"?
Now I don't know about the rest of you members but when I joined the program when it first came out way back when is not something that I keep retained in my memory bank, pin numbers to bank accounts is easy for me, birthdays are there as a priority, my home address is up there as well in the scheme of things to remember but when I joined the qantas scheme is not one of them.
So my question this morning to you all please is how long do I get suspended for?
Or do I have to get back on the phone from overseas to get to plead my case?
