Hilarious! I have it on good authority that the real reason is this..... Notice how you can turn your phone on when exiting via the air bridge but not down the stairs.... Deal is D*%K heads try to read their phones going down the stairs whoops head over heels, but through the air bridge smaller chance of breaking your neck. (Ipad2 and above have been cleared for use on airplanes for the pilot map apps for pilots)

As with everything in life people will try to justify their addiction.

Does it matter if it dangerous or not? It is not that difficult to sit there for a few hours without using gadgets.

If only QF would explain the issue this way ONCE so we can shorten up the pretakeoff repeat performances most FFs have memorised!!
