Very nice trip report and great pictures with a camera phone as well.

P.S Do not want to detract from the trip report in anyway but I think your exchange rates for THB/$A are not correct. You have quoted the exchange rate at ~39THB/A$ where it should be closer to ~29THB/A$.

hmmm - you're correct John. Must have mistyped it in the conversion calculator on my phone... oh well, everything in Thailand was more expensive than I thought...
