Managed to get a cheap Mel To DPS on GA return for $352 return but to park the car at Mel Airport will cost approx $200-230 hope my car has a great time like myself

At the airfare cost that you mentioned.. I believe you are still way in front. ;)

Thats a very good sign that in one industry the competition is starting to show some very anomalous relative valuations of a car park in Australia vs an international flight of 6-7hrs is it?

Funny thing is we will all be sitting in Australia around in 3-20 years time with low growth, an overvalued currency, dead export industries and furiously printing money and borrowing to avoid deflation. Australia = Japan - 20 years

I agree with selected summations of your post, though IMHO there is no way GA can make any marginal profit from selling $352 return fares to DPS.
Overcapacity on this sector is what I scent.
