After lunch I drove out to Longford as they were having their floral festival with several open gardens.
I parked outside this desirable fixer upper.

I then stopped at the visitor information which is a shelter with a post box outside with posters about Longford.

Until now I had been walking around with a mask on.It was mandated in the open gardens. A few of us kept our masks on though most only put them on as they entered each garden. A Covid Agent in hi vis was at each garden.
But now I entered the Town Hall where there was a floral display. Told as I entered I could take my mask off. Oh dear.

The roses and Peonies were very colourful.

Next was a group of 3 houses. You could walk between them. Presumably an old estate with the 2 buildings fronting the street having extensive extensions. So to the first.

The rest of the yard was well screened by various bushes and only accessed through here.
