Anyone able to register for an upgrade using points? I'm trying to put in for a Z upgrade on a MEL-LAX flight, but it keeps saying 'We're experiencing some problems'...
Turns out I can't select 'Defacto Partner' when presented with the option (returns an API error that the option isn't valid). Had to choose 'Wife' instead and it worked.

Do they even test their systems? Sigh.

Just looking at booking my next work trip, can't seem to find the "I'm flying for work" button to attach my ABN... It happened on my last trip too. I had to manually add the ABN in the booking stage rather than it just showing up (that activity hasn't shown up on the business page yet either).

Just me, or has this been enhanced?

The search page shows as 737 but expertflyer and seat map shows as 330. Maybe we’ll get a choice on the day!

Just booked an AAward on Qantas, operated by Alliance.
Got the Qantas PNR. But cannot select seats, only register a preference Aisle/window.
The little greyed out seat map appears briefly.

I vaguely recall it might work if to use Saudia airlines to change to my qantas FF number (AAward it currently has AA number) it might work. or something

I mean, it shouldn't be that hard...

At least I could add my ABN... lol

The Alliance operated flights tend to be smaller planes like dash-8 etc, so its not unusual to not be able to select seat, as they often weight balance.

True, these are E190s... I could seat select on my last E190 flight operated by alliance

I've been a member of QFF since 2009 and my name has been fine. I've never progressed beyond silver as most of my flying is about once a year in J to UK and more often than not, I don't get a forward and return journey in the same membership year. So I joined QC recently and now it shows my surname as my first name and my first name as my surname. Is that something they can / will fix? Or should I just ignore it?

I am having one of those days. A few weeks ago Qantas moved my bookings back a day on both the outward and return legs. OK no problem. Today i thought it best to have a printed version of my new itinerary so I went into ''Manage Booking" on the Qantas website where there is an option to email itinerary. Option selected. Email arrives - it is the original itinerary showing the original dates. WTF?

That's not a glitch, well, it is, but not a website one - it means your flight changes haven't ticketed. If they're QF flights then you should get that sorted at your leisure (you won't be able to check in without a ticket), and if they're partner flights you should chase up Qantas to get them ticketed ASAP as they may otherwise get dropped.

I got an email that said that my flight had been changed and the everything was exactly the same. They said I would get a new ticket but nothing yet - do you think I should be concerned

I rang Qantas (trivial wait - a mere 20 mins!) and the South African operator insisted booking had been ticketed and sent me a travel document out of Amadeus with the correct dates / times with flight status of confirmed. The flights are on Qantas to / from Manila.

Operator said I should have received a new itinerary after I accepted the changes a couple of months ago but I am certain that did not happen. If I take the email itinerary option it still shows the original details. It is a bit confusing.

I think if it was manually ticketed it won't be sent correctly by the website, but as long as that Amadeus email has a ticket number you should be good.

It has booking ref, QF number, seat number, etc. but I cant see a ticket number anywhere.
