More disturbing in that story was of a fellow in the lounge getting into trouble for using 2 teabags for the one cup.

Had a similar experience on QF SYD-MEL recently when they refused to serve tea at all using the absurd excuse that the flight was too short - despite the fact I've been served on SYDCBR before!

I see this all the time when flying on LCCs. The passenger will complain "but I paid 300 dollars/Euros for my ticket - why do I need to pay $/€4 for a drink?!"
