Well the saga of poorly prepared chicken wraps served on DJ flights just won't end:

John Jackson sues Virgin Blue over surgery
Shelley Hadfield, Herald Sun May 27, 2011 8:42AM

AN elderly man had to have kidney surgery after eating a chicken wrap on a Virgin Blue flight, according to court documents.

John Jackson, of Glenroy, has launched civil action in the Supreme Court seeking damages from Virgin Australia.

Mr Jackson, now 81, was flying from Melbourne to Mildura in June 2009 when he ate a chicken wrap from the in-flight service.

Court documents claim that about 48 hours later Mr Jackson was diagnosed with bacterial infection from food poisoning.
This isn't the first claim I remember arising from the 2009 chicken wrap incidents, but I dare say this might be a legal monkey on their back for some time yet.

Without the actual wraps being tested, it'd be hard to prove the wrap caused the illness, it could have come from anywhere. But that hasn't stopped this sort of claim in the past.

It seems the paper is ahead of it's time:mrgreen:.

Legal action takes time. Prob another year or two of repetitive articles.

I'm suprised that nonews.com hasen't blamed Qantas for this one.

Agreed, its actually pretty serious, I would put money on it being settled quite quickly to make it go away....
