After many years of researching flights, status levels, redemption flights, lounge access etc... (Like I know you all do) and having my wife just roll her eyes every time I mention something about flying or points, and how we can best benefit, today she said "when do you need to re qualify for platinum". When I explained it was in November and I and I don't have many flights coming up between now and November and need 150 status credit to maintain platinum, she said.......wait for it......."I think we need to consider some interstate weekends away or even a status run". I nearly fell over.
