Thanksgiving in the USA

Hollywood continued.

Then I walked down to Santa Monica Boulevard and caught a Rapid Bus to Santa Monica.

I last visited Santa Monica in January and it was much more lively than 10 months ago.

I caught the 'Big Blue Bus' to LAX. I'd already checked in online so went straight to security at T4 so I could get through faster. Had salt & pepper squid with a bowl of leaves, followed by panna cotta.







I was only in Premium Economy this time but had reserved a bulkhead seat - 20A. Halfway through my time in the lounge I got called to the front desk and told my seat was broken so had been moved to 20K - the window bulkhead on the other side. I would find out later on that it was actually because of a baby.

Boarded on time and a smooth 14hr 45m ride across the Pacific. I had VH-ZNA, the second time I'd had it - the other time being an Antarctica flight last New Years' Eve. Irish beef stew for supper.



And fruit plate for breakfast.
