The other day my wife was looking through her CBA Awards points and couldn't find anything she wanted to buy with the points she had. I had a look at mine, and couldn't find anything either - which wasn't good as I was cheesed of CBA and am going to shut down that Gold card.
So, in the early hours of this morning I was about to go to bed when something popped into my head - the email that AFF sent to me about converting bank points to Virgin points. When I woke up, I went back to that email, joined Virgin Velocity, and then did the transfers.
So, my wife now has enough for an awards return trip to Sydney or Brisbane, and I have enough for a one way trip with her.
