Thanks to all of your advice, i just booked my first QF flight domestically (and hopefully many more!) for 12 months. And all for $6 more than DJ! It's a lot more than what i normally like to pay but given the market it was reasonable...

You wont stop at Silver, you'll be aiming for Gold in no time. :p

Of course the rarified atmosphere that permeates the world of Platinum is but an unattainable goal for most of us. :(

Enjoy your exalted status and you'll see what I mean about aiming for Gold, I promise.

Congrats thegurio, good to see you'll be flying QF. ;)

If you have a look, QF isn't always that much more than DJ. We've been looking at a boys weekend in Melbourne for some footy and QF is cheaper than DJ for the Sunday night return trip. So the moral, always check- just in case!

Congrats!

Cheers,

dont worry... i know what you mean about gold but it comes directly out of my pocket as i own the business so unless i do a few os trips it def aint happening. I was just looking at my summary and i need 180 sc's to get to silver so thats only 4 trips and i normally do about 6 so thats in the bag hopefully.
