Can confirm as well that if your membership year ends in September, October or November and you had already made status for the next year prior to the loyalty gift that they will apply to the next membership year:
“Since you had already retained your Gold when we announced the Status Credit gift (28 Aug 25) and your new membership year starts within 100 days from the date the gift is to be awarded (2 - 8 Sep 25), you can have the gift applied to your new membership year.
Simply call the Frequent Flyer Service Centre on 13 11 31 during the first month of your new membership year, and we'll be happy to help.”
