Thai-Kiwi from FT - recent history in *A, but reduced work travel has forced me to BA/QF/JQ from time to time. Thought I should poke around here - and with upcoming biz award AKL-SYD-SIN...

Special "g'day" to a number whom I've met from FT and in person - serfty, JohnK, and straitman.... and others but not sure of the nicknames.

Princess Fiona, while I usually am quite careful with the wording of all my posts, I am especially careful on FT. I think because there is a somewhat larger audience over there, there are people who will pick you apart on any little point, and sometimes in a quite aggressive and unfriendly fashion. Having said that, I think FT has actually mellowed quite a bit from 4 or 5 years ago. :shock:

Edit: PS. The QF forum over there is usually fine, it's some of the others that can have issues.
