Thai Airways lack of reward seats

I have joined this forum because of my ongoing frustration with the lack of reward seats with Thai Airways where I have Gold status and plenty of reward miles. I usually fly business class and was hoping to occasionally find business class reward seats. Today I had a friendly operator check and there are no seats (any class) available for the rest of the year. That is frustrating. Could this be because I am not Platinum? I understand that Thai sometimes releases reward seats in batches. How can I get noticed?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @FrankFrank and welcome to AFF.

The availablilty of award seats is always a hot topic on AFF.

But your not likely to get many specific and helpful responses in this thread as it's a welcome thread only.

I'd suggest posting your comments/questions/request for help in a more appropriate thread.

Thank you Dr Ralph. I am new to this and didn't know. So I should not start a new thread for my grievance?

Welcome aboard @FrankFrank - while it will not make more award flights magically appear, if you stick around and read up, you should hopefully find some tips and tricks on how to increase your likelihood of bagging one

You can definitely start a new thread if you can't find an existing one that is suitable. But this would need to be outside of the Welcome Threads to have maximum reach.
