nobody knows
I was on TG476 last Friday and it was the old 10-seater.
And by the look of the seat map our flight on TG475 next Saturday is looking like the same configuration.
But on the bright side our short HKG-BKK hop is the one with 9 seats.

ThanksThai only update the gds for sydney in the couple of days leading up to the flight
You have a 50:50 chance of new v old F.
TG476 - Thai Airways - Flight history - Flightradar24
Regos ending in A, B, F, G, Y and Z are new F. All others are old F. The last 3 weeks it's been new F about 50% of the time. It's luck of the draw.
Hi - I am on TG476 Sunday 23rd and considering ask for upgrade J to F at check in.
From Expertflyer there at at least 5 seats available in each of F, A and P class
But... the 747 has only 9 seats in F.
My question is then why do not the 3 classes add up to 9?

That means there is at least 5 seats left in F. Thai is willing to sell them at any fare they offer with F being the most expensive
