Hi All,

Just had a client in who says EK required proof of negative PCR before Leaving AU for the UK and for return from UK to AU (specifically SYD).

(everyone in this conversation is full vacc'd)

Its my understanding that negative PCR to enter SYD
Its my understanding that I do NOT need a negative PCR to go AU to UK on EK only the lateral flow within 2 days of arriving in UK.

Anyone confirm / deny these?

This is my understanding also. No test required prior to entering the UK, and no test required to transit via DXB. (You would need a test to transit via AUH, but that is not relevant here.)

Did the EK check-in staff in Sydney explain why a negative PCR test was needed?

No client didnt expand on departure, their story was all about a few difficulties they had on return due to email systems etc. Think they just got the test amd offered it up on departjre but would really like someone to say "yup did that"
