While I'm not sure that Choice magazine would be seen as an authority, those interested in NAS boxes may liketo refer to their May '16 reviews for good and bad points etc.

Happy to say my Synology DS215j (2 bay) came out equal tops :) with the WD My Cloud Mirror (Gen 2) WDBWVz0040JWT-SESN at overall 89%. Several QNAP units came in with their score of 67%-75%. D-Links came bottom.
