Sydney travellers flying overseas — early R&D call‑out

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in an early research and development phase for a small inflight comfort and wellbeing concept, and I’m looking for a Sydney‑based couple who are flying overseas soon and wouldn’t mind trialling it and sharing structured feedback afterwards.

This is not a commercial post, it’s strictly R&D. I keep everything category‑only (calm/grounding/sleep‑support vs hydration/refresh/recovery) and I’m not sharing or promoting any specific items publicly.

If you’re flying soon and open to helping with early R&D, feel free to reach out or leave your details

Thanks in advance.

Can you give us a bit of an idea what it’s about?
Sure, happy to give a bit more context.

I’m in an early research & development phase looking at inflight comfort and wellbeing on long‑haul flights.

I’m trying to understand which categories travellers actually find useful (for example, calm/grounding/sleep‑support vs hydration/refresh/recovery), and how people use them during a long overseas flight.

It’s not commercial and I’m not promoting anything, just early R&D. I’m hoping to engage with a Sydney couple flying overseas soon who can try a small concept and give structured feedback afterwards.

Are you primarily looking for passengers in upright seats? So economy and premium economy?

Or does this also apply to first and business class?

Are not all of your categories important, just depending on the phase of flight? Calm and grounding when you want to sleep, awake and refresh before landing?

What sort of product is being tested? Is it a music app? Some sort of supplements? Or creams and essential oils? Or hardware such as a neck pillow or other device?

Thanks for the questions — happy to clarify.

I’m looking for travellers in economy or premium economy, mainly because that’s where inflight comfort challenges are most noticeable. Business and first class passengers can absolutely participate too, but the focus is on long‑haul comfort in upright seating.

You’re right that all the categories matter at different phases of the flight. Part of what I’m trying to understand is which categories people actually use and which ones they don’t, and how that changes across the flight (settling in, mid‑flight, pre‑landing, etc.).

I’m keeping things category‑only for now because I’m in an early R&D phase. I’m not testing apps, supplements, or anything digital. It’s also not a neck pillow or anything bulky. It’s a small, simple inflight comfort concept built around the categories I mentioned — calm/grounding/sleep‑support vs hydration/refresh/recovery — and I’m trying to see which categories real travellers find genuinely useful on a long overseas flight.

Happy to answer anything else within the R&D scope.
