Sydney to Bali

Flew to Bali in October on the 787. *class has gone backwards with the introduction of the 787. There is no reasonable leg rests anymore, just an iron bar foot rest that digs into your feet after an hour or so.

The armrest seems narrower too so always fighting for the middle arm rest.

Only 3 rows of seating so the cabin is tiny. Economy in the forward section of the plane disembark before *class which is a huge loss in DPS as getting to immigration 1st is invaluable there.

Food has imported greatly though to be fair.

I flew Y on the DreamLiner recently and took a row just behind J. The little Y cabin gets to board and disembark with J pax and the rest of Y are held back until they've departed.

I agree the J seats aren't as comfortable as the Airbus J seats.

Y class has gone backwards as well.

The 787, for most JQ pasengers is not a "Dreamliner". More the opposite!

Any other thoughts on the mini-Y cabin Hvr? I'm looking at a possible 787 flight on JQ and think the mini cabin of 27 might be the best place to be? Any idea on what the legroom in the bulkhead (row 10) is like? I haven't been able to find much in the way of reviews for the mini cabin
