I'm keen to understand what the process was for those that have taken this flight. I booked via Qantas Classic Rewards, flight code QF81 (Syd -> Singapore) and AF257 (Singapore -> Paris).
I have a 42kg Baggage allowance via Qantas but according to Air France, for economy the limit is a piece at 23kg. I also note that Air France is the MSC.
My question is what happens when you arrive in Singapore, did you have to collect your bags and then check in again or did they check your bags all the way through to Paris?
Reason for asking is that I want to make sure that I'm not hit with having to purchase additional baggage in Changi. Thanks
