So it's 4pm on a Sunday afternoon at the DJ lounge prior to SYD-MEL and the fire alarm is going off at Sydney domestic terminal.

Someone must be smoking in the loo, but we have been assured It's a real but false alarm

Would like to say thanks to the DJ staff for apologizing over the PA and then walking the floor to apologize for it as well.

Anyone else here annoyed at it?

Did someone leave their toastie on too long in the lounge? False fire alarms are a pita. Plus they cost a fortune in fire brigade response fees.

...and they used to be incredibly common in some buildings until the fire brigades starting charging call-out fees
