Sydney Airport ongoing industrial action (next on 30/10)

[Chatswood]

Seems like this industrial action involving Certis staff at SYD will be carrying on for a while yet. Given anecdotes of security queues far exceeding the times shown on the website it might be worthwhile to get to the airport much earlier.

Next strike action is on Friday 30 Oct from 5-8am and 4:30-7:30pm.

VA is allowing a free flight change to 29 or 31 October for their flights: https://www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/travel-info/specific-travel/sydney-airport-update/

It's a QantasLink ground staff action - lucky that QantasLink doesn't operate on main trunk routes, huh?
