A major power failure is causing chaos at Sydney Airport's international terminal, blacking out lights, PA, flight information and baggage systems.

The blackout has stranded Qantas's outbound international passengers at arrivals, spokeswoman Melissa Thompson told smh.com.au.

I was wondering why I saw delays from the SYD flights.

i just heard about this on sky news. they said that the fault could not be found and that it was affecting everthing from checkin to baggage carousels.

glad i flew into brisvegas this morning.
