Looking at booking a Syd-YVR airfare return in Y on QF in Sept 2010.... getting around $2600+ for the airfare at the moment which seems quite high. I think it is the beginning of the Australian school holidays:rolleyes:...do you think the price might drop (eg sale?) if I wait or should I just book it sooner rather than later to lock in the preferred flight times as it is very unlikely to get any cheaper??

Not answering your question but looking at V Aust Y+ is not much more ($2771 on random dates)at the moment- a least good seats to LAX
