Hi there,

My best friend has announced he'll be marrying his fiance on Friday 11 September. We're super excited but slightly overwhelmed as its less than 3 months away.

If you believe there is a better way please let me know.

Given it’s your best friends wedding, presumably an immovable event, I would depart at least one day earlier.

Give yourself some contingency for flight cancellations etc.

Other than that, I can’t see anything wrong with the plan. The A380 is still the best.

Good point will do. Thanks!

Looks the best option for sure, and agree a day buffer. Consider + $220pp exit row seats if thats in budget
Where is the wedding?Actually in LA?
Lots of nice coastline to spend weds arvo + Thurs, for accommodation depending where the wedding is (beaches slightly south of LAX cheaper than heading north)

Is there a reason that you're adding on more time after the wedding and not before? Personally I would prefer to have a few days to get over the jetlag and ensure that even if there are some disasters in getting there that you have ample wiggle room and have only a day or two after the wedding vs your current set up.
